  2. The ductless glands, which secrete their products, that is, hormones directly into the blood, are known as endocrine glands.
  3. They are part of the male reproductive system, which is oval-shaped and is found in pairs.
  4. The testes produce the hormones testosterone, and the male gametes sperms.
  5. Testosterone refers to a sex hormone that regulates bone mass, sex libido, muscle mass and strength, fat distribution, and the production of sperm and red blood cells.
  6. Sperm is the male gamete, which fuses with the egg cell in females during the process of fertilization at the time of sexual reproduction.
  7. The process by which an offspring is produced is termed reproduction; it is further of two types, that is, sexual and asexual mode of reproduction.
  8. In sexual reproduction, the haploid egg and the haploid sperm produced by the female and male parent are fused at the time of fertilization, giving rise to the diploid zygote, which further develops into an embryo.
