  1. These are the paired structures found in the male reproductive system.
  2. The testes are responsible for the secretion of the male sex hormone testosterone and sperms.
  3. The production of sperm takes place in the seminiferous tubules of testes.
  4. The production of sperm is called spermatogenesis.
  5. Testosterone regulates bone mass, sex drive, muscle mass and strength, fat distribution, and production of sperm and red blood cells in males.
  6. Sperm is the male gamete, which fuses with the egg in the female during the process of fertilization at the time of sexual reproduction.
  7. The process by which offspring are generated is known as reproduction.
  8. Reproduction is further differentiated into two kinds, that is, sexual and asexual modes of reproduction.
  9. During sexual reproduction, the male gamete, that is, the sperm, combines with the female gamete, that is, the egg, to give rise to the zygote that further results in the formation of an embryo.
  10. After the formation of sperms in the seminiferous tubules, they are moved to the epididymis, where the maturation of sperms takes place.
  11. After that, they are discharged through the vas deferens via the process of ejaculation.
