Ectopic pregnancy:

  1. A pregnancy in which the early embryo implants outside the uterus.
  2. It is also called extrauterine pregnancy.
  3. In this event, the embryo has to be implanted in the lining of the tube.
  4. The fallopian tube is not able to support pregnancy.
  5. The growing embryo can rupture after a few weeks.

Corona Radiata:

  1. Corona Radiata is composed of cells for the egg when it is emitted from the ovary.
  2. A cellular layer made up of glycoproteins within the Graafian follicle around the ovum prevents ectopic pregnancy.
  3. This cellular layer is known as Corona Radiata.
