Solution
DNA:
In the year 1869, Swiss physiological chemist,
Johann Friedrich Miescher
first discovered DNA.
He called it ‘nuclein’, which was found inside the nucleus of the white blood cell.
Later it was changed to nucleic acid, then deoxyribonucleic acid or DNA.
DNA is a double helix structure that transfers genetic information from one generation to another.
