Open in App
Solution

Need for nucleus:

  1. It performs the task of enclosing the DNA which gets transcribed into RNA which then eventually gets translated into protein for various biological functions.
  2. The nucleus is responsible for regulating the biological functions of the cell.
  3. It also functions by carrying the genetic inheritance in the form of condensed chromatin.
  4. The nucleus serves as the site for transcription.
