Solution

Asexual Reproduction

  1. Asexual reproduction or Abiogenetic propagation is a sort of reproduction that doesn't include the combination of gametes or changes in the number of chromosomes.
  2. The offsprings that emerge are either unicellular or multicellular organisms that acquire the full arrangement of the genes of their single parent.
  3. It is the essential type of proliferation for single-celled organisms, for example, archaea and microbes.
  4. Numerous eukaryotic living beings including plants, creatures, and growths can likewise recreate asexually.

Variation in asexual reproduction

  1. During Asexual reproduction, the organism inherits the exact same copy of the mother's genome making it impossible to have variation eventually leading to diversity in the species.
  2. But some species have developed techniques to improve their genetic diversity including various methods of sexual reproduction such as conjugation and transduction.
