O.2 mole of alkane gives 26.4 g of CO2

Hence, 1 mole gives 26.4O.2g of CO2

=132g of CO2

1 mole of CO2 is 44 gm

132 of CO2 means 3 moles

Alkane has 3 carbon atom and therefore, it is providing 3CO2

Formula is C3H8 (propane)

Molecular weight of C3H8 is 44.

Hence the correct option is C.
