Multiplying both sides by $10,$we get :

$10x=6.6666$ -----(ii)

Subtract equation (ii) from equation (i) , we get :

$$\begin{gathered} \Rightarrow 10x-x=6.6666-0.6666 \\ \Rightarrow 9x=6 \\ \Rightarrow x=\frac{6}{9} \\ \Rightarrow x=\frac{2}{3} \end{gathered}$$

Hence , $0.66666$in the form of $\frac{p}{q}$ is $\frac{2}{3}.$
