Question

1. 10 moles of nh3 and 5 moles of h2so4,,all the H-atoms are removed in order to form h2 gas,the find the number of h2 molecules formed

Open in App
Solution

2NH3 → N2 +3 H2
H2SO4 → 2H+ + SO42-
2H+ → H2
2 moles of NH3 give 3 moles of H2 and 1 mole of H2SO4 gives 1 mole of H2.
10 moles of NH3 will give 15 moles of H2 and 5 moles of H2SO4 will give 5 moles of H2.
Total moles of H2 = 20
No of molecules in 20 mol = 20*6.022*1023 = 120.44 *1023 molecules
