Solution

The correct option is A 1.78
The molar masses of Na2SO4.10H2O and H2SO4 are 322.2 g/mol and 98 g/mol respectively.
One molecule of Na2SO4.10H2O contains 14 oxygen atoms. One molecule of H2SO4 contains 4 oxygen atoms.

Hence, mass of Na2SO4.10H2Omolar mass of Na2SO4.10H2O×14×NA=mass of H2SO4molar mass of H2SO4×4×NA

Substituting values in the above expression, we get
1.61322.2×14×NA=x98×4×NA

x=1.78 g
Option D is correct.
