Growth of plants involves photosynthesis reaction and other reactions too. During growth of plants, there is a change in their thickness, length of shoot and growth in their roots.
These changes cannot be reversed back to their original state. A tree cannot be reversed back into a plant or seed.
Hence, the growth of plants is an irreversible change.
