Solution

The correct option is A

Only observation 1 is a reversible change

Reversible changes are the changes which can be undone. Ask yourself, "What is changing? Will the reverse happen?"

1. Balloons are inflated by blowing air into them. When we blow air into a balloon, we change the shape of the balloon. Is this permanent? Of course not. You know that once you let it go free, the air quickly squeezes out and the balloon comes back to its original shape. So, this is a reversible change.
2. Harvesting crops involves cutting them. When we cut a plant or a tree, we are changing its life. Before we cut, the plant was alive. After we cut, the plant is dead. Can it be undone? Nope. So, this is not a reversible change.
