Solution

Dear student,

1) Karyokinesis - The division of nucleus during the cell cycle is called karyokinesis. this is followed by the cytokinesis.
Cytokinesis - The division of cell cytoplasm during the process of the cell cycle is called cytokinesis. It follows karyokinesis.

2) The duplication of DNA occurs in the S phase of interphase.

3) Mitosis is called as equational division because, in this type of division, the number of chromosomes remains equal in both parental as well as in the daughter cell after division.

Regards.
