Solution

Byjus subject experts are not encouraging multiple questions at one time.So It is better not to repeat such incident.

1)Friction is a force that acts to stop the movement of two touching things. The energy lost to friction is turned into sound and heat).
It is not a fundamental force, like gravity or electromagnetism. Instead, scientists believe it is the result of the electromagnetic attraction between charged particles in two touching surfaces.

2)
Friction is caused due to interlocking. Every object has some irregularities. when 2 surfaces come in contact , their irregularities go into each other and they interlock.

3)A lubricant is a substance, usually organic, introduced to reduce friction between surfaces in mutual contact, which ultimately reduces the heat generated when the surfaces move.

4)
STATIC FRICTION-The friction at rest is called static friction.
SLIDING FRICTION-When an object is sliding over another is called sliding friction. ROLLING FRICTION-When one body rolls over the surface of another body the resistance to its motions is called rolling friction.
