2. Lime is used to treat acidic soil.
3. Toothpaste reduces the tooth decay as it contains fluoride salt which is the active ingredient in preventing tooth decay.The acid released by the bacteria in our mouth react with the basic enamel of our teeth. But when we use tooth paste, the negatively charged fluoride ions are released.These fluoride ions react with the acids in the mouth and prevent the decay of enamel(tooth) .It also reduces the loss of minerals from the tooth and promotes repair of early tooth decay.
