Terminating Decimal : Terminating decimals are the numbers that end after a few repetitions, after the decimal point. Example 0.6 , 4.789, 274.234 are some examples of Terminating Decimals.

Non Terminating Decimals : Non-terminating decimals are the one that does not have an end term. It has an infinite number of terms. Example 0.67777…………..

If we divide 17 by 10 the quotient we get is 1.7

So it is Terminating Decimal.
