Solution

The correct option is A 0.4771
100gm of metal carbonate will contain =28.57g of metal
So 1gm of carbonate will have =28.57100=0.285gm
1gm of metal forms =1.67gm of metal oxide
So, 0.285gm will form=1.67×0.285=0.475gm of metal oxide
