Solution

The correct option is A 171
In H2O, 0.126 g of H2 combines with 1 g of oxygen.
1 g of H2 combines with 10.126=7.936 g of O2
In NH3, 0.216 g of H2 combines with 1 g of N2.
1 g of H2 combines with 10.216=4.629 g of N2
Ratio of O:N in H2O and NH3 which combines with a fixed weight of H2(1 g)= 7.936:4.629 =7.9364.629:4.6294.629=1.71:1
Weight of oxygen which combines with 1 g of N should be 1.71=x g or its simple multiple.
Hence, the value of 100x is 171.
