2 :- Give the difference between speed and velocity ?

Solution

Distance is a measurement of the length between two distinct points in space. It is a scalar quantity, which means it can be represented with just one number. That number represents the length between the two positions.

Displacement is a way to represent the position of one point relative to another. It is a vector quantity, a three-dimensional vector to be exact, which means that you need 3 numbers to represent it. What are those numbers? Well space has 3 dimensions, as you already know. You need 3 numbers to know how far you go in each of those 3 dimensions you need to go in order to get from one point to the other.

2)

Speed is the distance traveled by an object where as, velocity is distance traveled by an object per unit time in a particular direction. Speed is a scalar quantity where as velocity is a vector quantity.
