Dear student,
1) The possibility for a flower to reproduce by self pollination is quite high since there is no need of pollinating agent like wind, insect etc. Anthers are close to the stigma of the same flower therefore chances of self pollination is quite high.
2) After fertilisation diploid zygote is formed which develops into embryo and further into plants. Endosperm acts as the source of energy for embryo. Ovule develops into seed and ovary into fruit.
