Question

1)if there is an explosion on the moon,would it be heard on the earth?
2)Two astronauts are floating to each other in space.Can they talk each other without using any special devices?Give reasons

Dear student, 1) Sound produced on the moon will not travel to earth as there is no material medium in space for it to travel through. So, if there is an explosion on the moon, it will not be heard on the earth. Post other query in different thread. Regards
