The correct option is A $0.96
Cost of 1 kg of oranges = $0.8
Weight of oranges in 1 box = 0.4 kg
∴ Cost of 1 box of oranges
= 0.8 4 × 0.4

Calculating 0.8 × 0.4 using the grid model, we get:


So, 0.8 × 0.4 = 0.32
∴ The cost of 1 box of oranges = $0.32

So, cost of 3 box of oranges = 0.32 × 3
