1 litre of water is kept in the ice tray in which the dimension of each small cubical container is 2 cm×2 cm×2 cm. Find the number of ice cubes that we will get after the 1 litre of water is made ice. Given 1 litre =1000cm3. [3 MARKS]

Application: 2 Marks

1 litre =1000 cm3

The volume of each ice cube will be 2×2×2=8 cm3

8 × number of ice cubes =1000 cm3

10008=125

125 cubes can be formed.
