Therefore, the molecular formula of the compound is C1O2.

Molecular Formula of the compound =CO2

Molecular weight of the compound = 1×12(Molecular weight of the carbon) +2×16 (Molecular weight )of the oxygen)
=12+32=44

Molecular weight of the compound =44g

Molecular weight of 1 mole of the compound =44g
