b. There are 8 Aluminium plants in India located in Uttar Pradesh, Orissa, West Bengal, Kerala, Chhatisgarh, Maharsahtra, Tamil Nadu.
c. The quality certificate bestowed on NTPC is ISO certification for EMS (Environment Management System) 14001.
d. The ratio between ore and alumunium is 4 tonnes of bauxite ---- 2 tonnes of alumina ---- 1 ore tone of aluminium
