Dear Student
1.
1. An electromagnet can produce very strong magnetic force whereas a permanent magnet produces a comparatively weak force of attraction.
2.The strength of an electromagnet can be changed by changing the number of turns in its coil or by changing the current passing through it whereas the strength of permanent magnet cannot be changed.
3.The polarity of an electromagnet can be changed by changing the direction of current in its coil whereas the polarity of a permanent magnet is fixed and cannot be changed.
