2. A cube of iron is of side 8 cm. What is its volume? 1 cubic centimeter of iron weighs 8 grams. What is the weight of this cube? (2 mark)

3. A truck is loaded with sand, 4 metre long, 2 metre wide and 1 metre high. The price of 1 cubic metre of sand is 1000 rupees. What is the price of this truck load? (2 mark)

1. length of the rectangular block =21 cm
Breadth of the rectangular block =15 cm
Height of the rectangular block =7 cm
Volume of the rectangular block =21×15×7=2205 cm3
2. All sides of the cube are equal
Volume =8×8×8=512cu.cm
Weight of this cube =512×8=4096 gram

3. Ans: volume of sand =4×2×1=8cu.m
Price of this truck load =8×1000=8000 rupees
