Part (a):
Out of all, class X least number of smileys against it in the pictograph.
Hence, class X has minimum number of scouts

(2)
Part (b):
Out of all, class VIII has maximum number of smileys against it. i.e., 6 in the pictograph.
Hence, class VIII has maximum number of scouts.

(3)
part (c) :
Class VII has four smiley faces in pictograph.
As each smiley represents 10 secouts.
Four smiley faces has 4×10=40 scouts

(4)
part (d)
We know that class X has 1 smiley.
and Class VI has 4 smileys =4 four times of 1.
=4× class X
Class Vi is the required answer.

(5)
part (e)
there are 4+2+6+3+1=14 symbols are there and one symbol is equal to 10
So, total scouts are 14×10=140
total scouts =140
