Pressure difference, ΔP=19600098000=98000Nm2

Pressure difference, ΔP=ρgΔh

Where, ρ= density of liquid

Δh = height difference

ΔP=ρgΔh

98000=1000×9.8×Δh

Δh=10m

Hence, third floor is at 10m from ground. Specific gravity: The ratio of the density of a substance to the density of some substance (such as pure water) taken as a standard when both densities are obtained by weighing in air
