(1) A molecule is the smallest particle in a chemical element or compound that has the chemical properties of that element or compound. Molecules are made up of atoms that are held together by chemicals bonds.
(2) There are two types off molecules :
1. Molecules of an element : Molecule of an element is made up
of only one kind of atom. For example O3,N2,P4,S8,etc.
2. Molecules of compound : Molecule of a compound is made up of two or more different kinds of atoms in a fixed ratio. For example CH4,H2O,NH3,etc.
