2.two chemical reactions in which water acts as reducing and oxidising agents.

Solution

1. The chemical reaction is a process in which two or more elements react with each other.

There are two types of elements, that are reactants and products.

There is also formation of bonds.

The process of making of bonds is called chemical bonding and the process of breaking of bond is called chemical disassociation.
Bond-breaking is an endothermic process. Energy is released when newbonds form. Bond-making is an exothermic process. Whether areaction is endothermic or exothermic depends on the difference between the energy needed to break bonds and the energy released when new bondsform.

2. Water as reducing agent F2 + H2O --->HF + O2
Water as oxidising agent Al + H2O ---> Al2O3 + H2
