1. Copper gets coated with a green deposit known as Verdigris. This takes place due to the corrosion of Copper. Chemical formula for it is 2CuCo3.Cu(OH)2.

2. Iron forms hydrated oxide which is brown in colour known as rust. It's chemical formula is (Fe2O3.xH2O).
