Solution

1.The mucus is a substance secreted along the tube by cells lining its walls .Mucus helps food to slide through the canal without doing too much damage to the lining. It also forms a protective covering which keeps the digestive juices, which are inside the lumen of the canal, from coming into contact with the living cells of the walls. So the inner wall of alimentary canal is not digested.

2. after we exhale, there is some air left out in the lungs. that is why we can stay widout breathing for sometime as the excjhange of gases is still going on.

3.The blood clots if conducting tubes of a circulatory system develops a leak. The platelets will increase, which will minimize the leakage. Due to this, the inactive thrombin will become the active one in the presence of thromboplasm. Moreover, this active thrombin will convert the inactive fibrinogen into the active fibrin and it results with a clot. The problem is that if the person doesn’t develop with a blood clot, then the medical care is required, otherwise this can lead to death.

4.If all the green plants will disappear from earth then it will cause a decrease in the concentration of the oxygen to such a low level that it would not be sufficient for all the living organisms for breathing. Thus, it willresult in their death.

5.If mucus is not secreted by the gastric glandsthen the hydrochloric acid will digest and corrode the stomach walls. if mucus is not secreted by the gastric glands the stomachwould digest itself , it protects from the corroding of the inner lining of the stomach by hydrochloric acid .
6.Glucose that enters the nephron along with the filtrate after passing through the glomerulus, passes from the tubule ofnephron where it is selectively reabsorbed and sent back to blood
