10 chocolates are distributed in the ratio 2 : 3 between A and B respectively. B further divided the chocolates with him between C and D equally. If D gives back all the chocolates with him to A, what is the final number of chocolates with A ?

The correct option is C 7
Sum of the terms of the ratio = 2 + 3 = 5
Value of 5 parts = 10 chocolates
Value of 1 part = 105=2 chocolates

A gets 2 parts = 2× 2=4 chocolates
B gets 3 parts = 3× 2=6 chocolates

Further, B divides the chocolates with him equally between C and D
C and D get 3 chocolates respectively.

D gives all his chocolates to A

The final number of chocolates with A = 4 + 3 = 7.
