Let number is $x$
When $10$ added to it $= (x + 10)$
$7$ multiplied to sum,
$= 7 \times (x + 10)$
Now,
$= [7 \times (x + 10) / 5]$
And,
$= [7 \times (x + 10) / 5] - 5$
According to question,
$[7 \times (x + 10) / 5] - 5 =$ half of $88$
$[(7 x + 70) / 5] = 44 + 5$
$7 x + 70 = 49 \times 5$
$x + 10 = 7 \times 5$
$x + 10 = 35$
$x = 35 - 10$
$x = 25$
So, required number is $25$
