10 kg of a metals melted and recast into a cylinder of diameter 6 mm and 25 cm long. Find the density of the cylinder. If this cylinder is again melted and recast into 7 equal sized cubes find the density of each cube. Whet do you infer about densities found?

Volume of cylinder = $\pi r^{2}h$

= $\pi \times {(3\times {10}^{-3})}^2\times 25\times {10}^{-2}{m}^3$

= $7.06\times {10}^{-6}{m}^3$

$Mass=10kg$

Now density is given as:

$density=\frac{mass}{volume}=\frac{10}{7.06\times {10}^{-6}}\frac{kg}{m^3}$

density = $1414710.6kg/m^3$

& Since density is a characteristic property of a material hence density of each cube will be same.
