Solution

The correct option is A 0.2 N
10 millimoles of a diacidic base can neutralize 10 millimoles of a dibasic acid or 20 millimoles of a monobasic acid.

For a dibasic acid, 10 millimoles are present in 100 ml solution. So the molarity is 0.1 M and the normality is 0.2 N.

For a monobasic acid, 20 millimoles are present in 100 ml solution. Hence the molarity is 0.2 M and the normality is 0.2 N.

In either case, the Normality of the acid will be 0.2 N
