Solution

The correct option is D 60 oz
Cargo to be loaded on a truck = 10 lb

Capacity of the truck = 100 oz

Let's convert pounds to ounces.

We know that,
1 pound = 16 ounces

Hence, we will multiply 10 with 16.

So, 10 lbs =10×1 lb
=10×16 oz
=160 oz
To calculate the amount of cargo left unloaded, we have to subtract the amount of cargo to be loaded from the total capacity of the truck.

Total amount of cargo - Capacity of the truck

160 oz - 100 oz = 60 oz

Hence, 60 oz of cargo is left unloaded.
