10. Solve the following pair of equations for x and y, also find the value of ‘m’ such that 𝑦=𝑚𝑥+2.
𝑥+3/𝑦=5 , 2𝑥−6/𝑦=6.​

1. x + 3y = 5 2x +6y = 102. 2x-6y = 6Adding 1. and 2. 2x +6y +2x-6y= 10+64x = 16 x = 4put this back in 1. 2x4 +6y = 106y = 2 y = 3Given that, y= mx+2plugging in the values of x = 4 and y = 33 = m4+2m = 14
