Open in App
Solution

Dear student

On Heating

1 Ferrous sulfate decomposes to ferric oxide and SO2 and SO3 is released
2FeSO4 = Fe2O3 + SO2 + SO3
2 Lead nitrate decomposes to lead mono oxide and liberating NO2 and O2
2 Pb(NO3)2 = 2PbO + 4 NO2 + O2
3 Calcium carbonate is broken down into CaO and CO2 is liberated.
2CaCO3 = 2CaO + 2CO2
4 Copper sulfate crystal loses its water and becomes colorless.
CuSO4 .5H2O = CuSO4 + 5H2O
