Dry Oxygen (O2) :- Dry oxygen(O2) is heavier than moist O2 since the vapour density of dry O2 is more than moist O2.
Dryness is measured on the basis of moisture. The lesser the moisture content the drier it will be.
Dry oxygen in the laboratory
If oxygen gas is passed through a tower containing some drying agents like phosphorous pentoxide (P2O5) ,fused calcium chloride through concentrated sulphuric acid (H2SO4).
These dry agents absorb moisture from the gas and make it dry.
