Ans: (b)

Sol: If x= 6, y=20 => option A is wrong; If x= 11, y=35 => option C is wrong; If x= 10, y=32 => option D is wrong; for a number to be divided by 6, it should be divided by 3 first. 3x+2 gives a remainder of 2 when divided by 3. Hence 6 cannot be a divisor of ‘y’.
