Solution

Given equations are,
$139 x + 56 y = 641$ .......(i)

$56 x + 139 y = 724$ .......(ii)

By adding (i) & (ii) we get,
$195 x + 195 y = 1365$

$⟹ x + y = \frac{1365}{195}$

$⟹ x + y = 7$ ......(iii)

By subtracting (ii) from (i) we get,
$83 x - 83 y = - 83$

$⟹ x - y = \frac{- 83}{83}$

$⟹ x - y = - 1$ ......(iv)

By solving (iii) & (iv) we get,

$x = 3$ and $y = 4$

Hence solved.
