Solution

  • Metals are lustrous due to which metal has a shiny appearance.
  • So, Iron, Copper, and Aluminium have a shiny appearance. But the Iron metal has a high affinity toward oxygen.
  • Hence, iron reacts with oxygen in presence of moisture and forms a dull layer at the surface of the metal while steel and aluminium do not form a layer.
