Mass of methyl alcohol = 15 g
Volume of the solution = 100 ml
Density = 0.96gmL1
So. Density = massvolume
mass = 100 × 0.90 = 96 g
Mass percentage of methyl alcohol = mass of methyl alcoholmass of solution × 100
= 150096=15.66%
