Solution

Dear Student ,
When an object falls freely towards the ground then its potential energy decreases and kinetic energy increases .As the object touches the ground all its potential energy is converted in to kinetic energy .Again after hitting the ground the object makes some sound and produces some heat .So the heat energy and sound energy is also developed .It can also deform the ground depending upon the nature of the ground and the amount of kinetic energy possessed by the object .
