Apparant distance of the bottom of the vessel below the free surface of the benzene is
$h_a=\frac{H_B}{{\mu }_B}+\frac{H_W}{{\mu }_W}=\frac{6}{1.5}+\frac{4}{1.33}=4+3=7cm$
