The correct option is C ΔQ=3600K
Given :2 moles of a monoatomic gas are expanded to double its initial volume, through a process P/V = constant. If its initial temperature is 300K, then which of the following is not true.

Solution :
PV=constant=C
PV=nRT
CV2=nRT

V21V22=T1T2
V1=V and V2=2V, T1=300k
On solving we get T2=1200K then ΔT=900K
Work done =P.dv
Work done =2vvCV.dv = 32CV2 =32nRT

Work done=32×2×R×300 = 900R

ΔQ=ΔU+ΔW

ΔU=nCvΔT
ΔU=2×3R2×900 = 2700R

ΔQ=900R+2700R = 3600R
