2 resistors R1=2ohm and R2=8ohm are connected parallel to a cell of voltage V and internal resistance 'r'.What happens to the voltages across R1and R2,if R1 is decreased??

Hi,

In a parallel circuit, the voltage across each of the components is same. It does not depend on the value of resistance of the component. Therefore, voltage across R1 and R2 will be equal to the voltage of cell i.e. V.
