Two persons could fit new windows in a house in 3 days.
How many persons would be needed to fit the windows in one day?

Let the number of persons be x.
$\begin{array}{ccc}Persons& 2& x\\ Days& 3& 1\end{array}$

Here, the number of persons and the number of days are in inverse proportion.

$\therefore \frac{2}{x}=\frac{1}{3}\Rightarrow x\times 1=2\times 3\Rightarrow x=\frac{2\times 3}{1}=6persons$
